With a history of over 130 years, Boston's Chinatown is one of the oldest residential Chinatowns in the nation. Through the A-VOYCE Chinatown Walking Tours you will learn about the origins of the neighborhood, hear stories of community struggle and activism, and discover the continuing legacy of immigrants in the neighborhood.
Community Guides
A-VOYCE youth guides and ACDC staff will provide you with the street-level knowledge of Chinatown that goes beyond the restaurants and the Gate. As residents and community workers, our youth guides know the back alleys and the hidden stories.
Encouraging Community Engagement
Proceeds from tours support A-VOYCE, the youth program of ACDC. Tours provide visitors with knowledge of Chinatown that focuses on community issues, and explores themes relating to education, activism, and culture.
