The Chinatown Human Development Studio is hosting a FREE resource workshop at the Storefront Library, at 640 Washington Street in Boston.
The Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights is a private, nonprofit, nonpartisan legal organization that provides pro bono legal representation to victims of discrimination based on race or national origin. The Committee’s mission is to provide a safeguard for the civil, social, and economic liberties of residents in Greater Boston and throughout Massachusetts. This workshop will be a discussion of the types of cases that are handled, as well as a summary of some of the current cases. There will also be a small business workshop following this discussion.
Presentations and resources will be in English and Cantonese.
